So I don’t think I’ve mentioned this on here yet, but I recently started working at my friend’s music store/venues. In the past I would occasionally help him out with things or work the door at a show, but nothing really “permanent”. However, I just started booking shows and I’ve been helping to get things in order with the store (since he just opened a new place). Everything is going great. It’s one of those places where I have fun and enjoy myself, somewhere where I don’t feel trapped or bothered, a place that I can be at for 12 hours straight and not realize how much time has passed. It’s something that I’m really thankful for right now.
