We limit ourselves. From what we eat, to who we talk to, to whether or not we should make eye contact with strangers, to what clothes are currently trendy, to what music is just too mainstream or indie for us to listen to, to where we sit in class, to who we talk to or ignore while waiting in long lines at the store, to the shirt that looks cute on the mannequin but just not on us, to what goals we think we can reach in a week or a year, to what schools we apply to, to what activities we join, to the way we exist in these new-generation lifestyles where we’d rather sit alone for weeks than go out and sit in a coffee shop alone or see a movie with a new friend.

Break the routines. Break the barriers. Try everything once. Try something new every day. Talk to your crush. Talk to a stranger in line. Smile at every person who walks by you. Wear, eat, and listen to what YOU like. Be comfortable in your own skin because it’s the only body you will ever have. Stop molding yourself into anything you don’t want to be. And live. I mean, really LIVE and experience every single moment of your life.
